By God's grace I married my best friend 31 years ago (1978) after 3 years of dating (I wanted to be sure). My husband worked as an engineer for the government in the Department of Defense for a number of years but is now self-employed. We have lived in Dallas, San Antonio, and currently live in Austin, Texas. I originally worked for Bell Telephone Company for 12 years while I was deciding what I wanted to be when I grew up. I went back to school to earn a nursing degree. After working with cardiac patients for ten years, I'm currently working in PACU. I love going on medical mission trips with a Christian group called HELPS International. This October we'll be going as a surgical team to Nebaj, Quiche in the rural highlands of Guatemala, ministering to the descendants of the Mayans. I love adventure!

Congratulations to the Reunion Committee and whoever (Bobby C?) that put this site together...Am hopeing to re-connect with some Dear, Special friends this summer....Have so enjoyed Facebook and the gift of finding friends from past days...gotta love the I-net!
Have tried to download (upload?) pics past and present....no luck...I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to computers.....:-) Will hope this gets posted and I can say hi to all of my classmates.

November 10, 2015 Newly married to Ron Powell, a fellow Northside graduate of 1965. We were married three weeks ago on October 21st. Our reunion date next year will be twice as nice! Lookig forward to the "BIG FIVE O REUNION".
