The 40th Reunion of the NHS Class of 1966 is now a precious memory. Hopefully, everyone who attended had a great time and became reacquainted with "long-lost" classmates. Friday night, 142 classmates and their spouses or guests attended the barbecue down on the river at the Riverfront Pavilion, and 130 attended the Saturday night banquet. One classmate came from Japan and another one traveled 1400 miles! Several classmates thought they might be able to contact some of the ones we have not been able to find. We were also saddened to learn that there are at least three more of our classmates who have passed away. We will update the website when we get the complete information. In addition, we plan to post the reunion pictures as soon as they are available to us. Click on Photo Albums to view them.
We plan to keep the website active for the next 5 years, updating when we have new information. You will notice a few changes as we transition from the 40th Reunion to the 45th Reunion. Please feel free to use the website to stay connected and send updates when you can. To date, we have had over 3700 hits on the site! If any of the information for you changes (address, phone, e-mail address, etc.), please click on Classmates and update your info. If you would like to have an on-line discussion or join in an ongoing topic, please click on Message Board. This is the best way to stay connected with the entire class, and it's easy on the Webmaster!!
The Reunion Committee hopes everyone felt welcome and a part of the festivities. We hope you know how important you are to your classmates. We all shared a unique slice of some of the most memorable parts of our young lives together, and it's really wonderful to be able to reconnect, laugh, and share those memories (some good, some not so good!). The committee plans to get together every few weeks (or months) just to have fun and stay connected. We will post the time and date, and you are welcome to join the committee and help plan our next reunion in 2011!
