Bob and I moved to San Miguel de Allende Mexico in 1999 and are very happy here in our mountain paradise. I was happy to stay retired but Bob got restless and started a small business that he enjoys a lot. His company rents Luxury Vacation Villas and keeps us all busy. Our daughter Heather Latta Beene has recently moved back to Fort Smith and our other daughter, Courtney Latta Knoblock, lives in Tulsa.

It really hasn't been forty years! I am still a teenager, so all you other folks must be hallucinating from the 60's era "experimentation"... Just Kidding... Happily married, retired from retail management after too many promotions and relocations.. My son Travis and grandaughter Gracie are, of course the Loves of my life. God is Good: aging is not too fun, but retirement is really fun..Wish I could attend the reunion, but cannot this time. Have a "Blast" as we used to say.

I left Fort Smith after graduation to attend John Brown University in Siloam Springs..Working in telecommunications and broadcasting, I eventually found myself in coastal Virgina, completing an internship with a TV station before Uncle Sam bade me welcome to the US ARMY. Trained infantry-airborne but found my communications work better prepared me for a comission in the signal corps . Completed 4 years, finishing my duty in Frankfurt, Germany in l972. Married my wife of 36 years in l970. Have 2 sons, one living in Nashville TN. and the second lives closeby in Virginia Beach , allowing me to visit with my 28 month old grandson quite often! I moved from Little Rock to Fayetteville 4 years ago in Sept. to be a caregiver for my Dad (90) & Mom (86) who have since gone to be with our Lord, (married for 67 yrs.), unbelievable! I have one son, Spencer, who will be 21 in May (I got a much later start than most of you!ha), therefore, I don't have any of those grands everyone is talking about, but Spencer is my pride and joy and he also lives in Fayetteville. I traded in for pediatric caregiving and am the nanny for my 3 year old niece, Lily, and what a delight she is! She keeps me on my toes. I can't wait to see everyone!
