By God's grace I married my best friend 31 years ago (1978) after 3 years of dating (I wanted to be sure).  My husband worked as an engineer for the government in the Department of Defense for a number of years but is now self-employed.  We have lived in Dallas, San Antonio, and currently live in Austin, Texas. I originally worked for Bell Telephone Company for 12 years while I was deciding what I wanted to be when I grew up.  I went back to school to earn a nursing degree. After  working with cardiac patients for  ten years, I'm currently working in PACU. I love going on medical mission trips with a Christian group called HELPS International. This October we'll be going as a surgical team to Nebaj, Quiche in the rural highlands of Guatemala, ministering to the descendants of the Mayans. I love adventure!

Married for 10 yrs. divorced have a wonderul son from that marriage...and a granddaughter. Married again to Jan Albright and been happily married to him 26 yrs. come June. Have lived in Kansas, Kentucky, Texas, and back to Fort Smith. I worked in Texas as a Savings & Loan manager for 11 yrs. Moved back to Fort Smith to be a caregiver for my mother for 10 yrs. who passed away in 2002. I hope to make it to the reunion.

After finishing at Northside, I never thought I would live in Fort Smith again. I thought I most likely would live in the American west or overseas doing medical missions. Right after medical school in 1974, I married the woman of my dreams, Candy Anderson of Fayetteville. We returned to Fort Smith in 1982 and raised our two children here. Both are Northside graduates, Elizabeth in 1995 and Steven in 1996, exactly 30 years after I finished at NHS. I continue to practice emergency medicine in the Sparks e.r. My wife and I return frequently to northern Montana where we lived when we were first married. Fort Smith is still home and we are happy to be Arkansawyers.
